My Evaluation:

• There is a relatively flat orange to yellow sunset line in the background.
• The photo is focused mainly on the biker which is clear while the mountains are slightly blurry.
• The mountains to the right of the photo are cropped.
• The background of the photo is a clear sunset.
• The viewer is unable to see what is in the front of the photo.
• The subject is a fairly skilled BMX biker.
• We can't see what they are wearing because it is a silhouette.
• They are standing while hitting a jump on a bike.
• They are making a jump on a bike.
• The lighting is very melodramatic and dark. The light seems to be coming from behind the subject.
• The photographer took the picture from an angle behind the subject with them apparently going across the screen.
• The photographer seemed to be trying to imply that people can do amazing things.

My Evaluation

• The subject is a shark leaping out of the water.
• The picture was taken in the middle of the ocean.
• Behind the shark is the horizon over the ocean.
• The entire photo seems to be as clear as other parts of the photo except for there the water slightly blurres the shark.
• It seems as if the photographer was standing on a boat fairly close to the shark.
• There is water coming up from there the shark leaped that covers up the flat horizon behind it.
• This photo makes you feel as if your never truly safe in the ocean.
• This picture tells you that when you go into the ocean your bakc on the food chain.

Photography

1. I see photography being used almost everywhere, whether it be in the news, movies, or a tutorial on the internet.
2. Photographers often will share their photos on the internet or magazines in order to get publicity and find out what people like to see pictures of.
3. Photographers will usually mainly focus on photos of what they enjoy doing or what they like. By doing this they in a way share who they are with others.
4. Photographers are able to influence people through their photos. This allows them to possibly influence large crowds of people if they choose.
5. I took this class mainly for the video editing experience because it seems like a fun career choice.
