http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=jomUtCcSBdA5_M&tbnid=yi11X064EcrhAM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DFfxvdVZOD0o&ei=GsQoUse3O4GriAKi4YCACg&bvm=bv.51773540,d.cGE&psig=AFQjCNEPjnPIxeGMiMLsPgjuCXcIXEEfKQ&ust=1378489682730207

My Evaluation:

  • There is a relatively flat orange to yellow sunset line in the background.
  • The photo is focused mainly on the biker which is clear while the mountains are slightly blurry.
  • The mountains to the right of the photo are cropped.
  • The background of the photo is a clear sunset.
  • The viewer is unable to see what is in the front of the photo.
  • The subject is a fairly skilled BMX biker.
  • We can't see what they are wearing because it is a silhouette.
  • They are standing while hitting a jump on a bike.
  • They are making a jump on a bike.
  • The lighting is very melodramatic and dark. The light seems to be coming from behind the subject.
  • The photographer took the picture from an angle behind the subject with them apparently going across the screen.
  • The photographer seemed to be trying to imply that people can do amazing things.
